McGirr Associates Ltd was first established in 1994 as a Private Training Establishment with NZQA.

We provide training programmes designed to help people enter employment, develop practical employment skills, or continue with further training. We have a learner-focused rather than a one-size-fits-all approach to training.

Our mission is to empower people with knowledge and skills that will enable them to gain confidence, self-esteem and autonomy. We share this mission with all clients, stakeholders and staff. Through this holistic approach towards identifying personal skills and aptitudes clients can begin their life long career plan.

McGirr Associates has a proven history in working with diverse client groups. We also have a reputation for working successfully with those clients facing particularly strong barriers to employment. Our career and action plans are desiged to be realistic - focussing on individuals strengths. As well as being the largest Targeted Funding Provider for the Tertiary Education Commission in the Wellington Region, we have a long history of providing services to Work & Income, Wellington Region.

McGirr delivers the skills & support critical to:
